Canopy was founded with a purpose; to solve the challenge of providing quality, reliable landscape maintenance service in a way that serves its employees and customers equally.

Our Story

Canopy was born in 2016 with the goal of reshaping a broken industry. From basic administration to creating a company that can grow and scale, the challenges were significant. On top of that we knew we wanted to weave our values and an entirely new approach to employee and customer care, while also adopting an environmentally friendly stance. The last five years have seen growth, mistakes, achievements, laughter, and tears. But they have also seen the crystallization of our company in the form of our vision, mission, values, leadership, technology, and execution.

We are taking a different approach to building a leadership team, even to the point of not calling it a leadership team. From former experts in mergers and acquisitions to the former CEO of a marketing agency, our servant team is a reflection of our unique approach to change the way landscape maintenance is done, both for our customers as well as our team.

Our Mission

We believe the home service industry, especially lawn care, is broken. It is one of the most painful areas of life to maintain your home, with widespread acceptance of a broken system and rampant worker exploitation. The invitation to go onto someone’s property, and alleviate this pain, is a tremendous honor and opportunity. To make their home a sanctuary. Why is it so hard to find good service providers? Workers in this industry are not celebrated, and in turn, homeowners receive a poor experience.

We are changing all of that. We are assembling an amazing team of people dedicated to serving you. The top of our org chart is our field team. The people who come to your home to serve you. The rest of us are their support team. They are the best in the industry, they are trained, knowledgeable, and friendly. They can answer your questions and make recommendations. They use our incredible technology to create a record of your property, all of your desires for it, and communicate with you all along the way.
